PRACTICAL GUIDE · LEADMAPS TEAM · UPDATED OCTOBER 17, 2026

From a Google Maps business search to an Excel list.

This walkthrough uses LeadMaps to collect available business information and export a reviewable file. It covers the choices that affect your list: location, required details, credit limit and export scope.

The sample contains saved restaurant records from Tuguegarao City, collected on October 12, 2026. It is an example of the file format, not a complete or current directory of every restaurant in the city.

1. Define the business search.

Open New collection and choose a business category and country. Select Across the country, Province / state or City / municipality. Use the searchable location options, or specify a location that is not listed. For a first test, one category and one city make the results easier to inspect.

For example, choose Restaurants, Philippines and Tuguegarao City. A country-wide search covers different available areas within its search budget; a small limit does not guarantee geographic balance.

2. Separate essential details from useful extras.

For phone, email, website, social links and rating, choose Skip, Available or Required. Available keeps matching businesses even if that field is missing. Required excludes businesses without it.

Review collection is optional and off by default. Use its dropdown to leave reviews off, collect the available sample up to 50 per business, or specify a smaller limit. Collecting a review sample does not mean you receive the complete review history.

Require an email only if every usable record must have one. This can reduce the output, sometimes to zero. The service does not invent missing emails or establish that a collected address is deliverable.

3. Confirm the maximum credit charge.

Set Maximum leads, then continue to Review. Check the category, location, required details and maximum charge before confirming. One accepted business uses one collection credit. Duplicates and retries within the job do not create extra delivered records; unused reserved credits return to the balance.

The limit is a maximum rather than a promise. You can leave the browser while a cloud job runs, and review already saved results as they arrive.

4. Review the saved records.

In All businesses, use search and filters to inspect the list. Open a business to check its source listing, recorded collection time and available details. Add notes or update its status after you do the corresponding work.

If fewer records arrive, inspect the collection's discovered, duplicate, excluded and incomplete counts. A partial result does not mean missing fields were filled automatically. Check strict requirements before creating another collection.

5. Choose exactly what to export.

The preview captures the records at that point. New arrivals belong in a subsequent export. Check the preview count before downloading.

6. Pick a format and template.

The five standard templates are Clean Lead List, Calling List, Agency Prospecting, CRM Import and Complete Data. Choose based on the task. Standard saved-result exports use zero collection credits; collecting new businesses is separate.

Download links expire. If a link stops working, create another export from the retained saved records rather than starting another collection.

Before using the file

Check names, source links, collection dates and missing fields. Ratings and business details can change. Public contact information does not by itself establish permission for marketing. A business list is a research input, not a verified or representative dataset.

Try it with a small list.
