LEADMAPS FOR RESEARCHERS

Build a business research list you can inspect.

A list of businesses can be a starting point for market research, a directory audit or a local industry scan. The difficult part is keeping the search scope, missing information and source context clear enough for someone else to check.

A practical workflow

  1. Define a bounded question

Start with a category and geographic area, such as restaurants in Tuguegarao City. Set a maximum number of records. A country-wide search samples available businesses across different areas; it is not a census or a statistically random sample.

  2. Decide what is essential

Choose Available for optional phone, email, website, rating or review details. Choose Required only when a missing field would make a record unusable for your question. Stricter requirements can produce fewer results, including zero.

  3. Inspect before analyzing

Review the source listing, recorded collection time and missing fields. Keep your interpretation in notes. A listing without a website URL does not prove that the business has no website.

  4. Export with context

Use Complete Data when you need source and collection fields. JSON preserves structured values; Excel can include a separate business-reviews sheet when review entries were collected. Keep your search specification alongside the exported file.

Before you use the list

LeadMaps collects available public business information. It does not verify every field, establish a representative sample, or replace your research method. Business ratings and review samples can change and should not be treated as a complete measure of a market.
